The Nike Free 4.0 Flykint for Women kicks off the Nike N7 Spring collection. The collection features dragonfly design features and are inspired by the New York Yankee center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury and his Navajo background. The dragonfly design features stem from the Native American belief that dragonflies represent swiftness and activity. As a matter of fact, Ellsbury recalls his mother telling him “If you catch a dragonfly without killing it and rub it on the bottom of your feet, it will make you faster” In other cultures the dragonfly represents courage, strength, happiness, comfort and reassurance during transitional life moments. All of these representations can apply to this Nike collection since working out and wearing the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit can provide the same feelings.
The shoes display the colors of Hyper Turquoise/Bright Crimson/Neon Turquoise. The upper displays the bold solid color of Turquoise along the front including the tongue and shoelaces. The rear and heel of the upper displays the bold color of crimson. The sides of the upper display a mix of all 3 colors to give a unique mix. The sole of the shoe features the dragonfly pattern.
